Frases clave
| Inglés | Español |
|---|---|
| I've already finished my first ticket. | Ya he terminado mi primer ticket. |
| I've just pushed my first PR. | Acabo de subir mi primer PR. |
| I've met everyone on the team. | He conocido a todo el equipo. |
Gramática · Present perfect
I've (I have) + participio · already = ya · just = acabo de
Already y just van entre have y el participio.
I've already set up my laptop, and I've just joined the channel.
💡 “I've just…” = acabo de… Es muy útil en Slack: I've just sent it.
Así lo dirías
Sarah: How's your first month going? What have you done so far?
Tú: Really well, thanks! I've already finished three tickets, and I've met everyone on the team.
I've finished, I've met). Already va entre have y el participio.
Lo que todavía no
Di lo que te queda por hacer.
Frases clave
| Inglés | Español |
|---|---|
| I haven't deployed to production yet. | Todavía no he desplegado en producción. |
| Have you met the CEO yet? | ¿Ya conoces al CEO? |
| I still haven't got access to the analytics tool. |
Gramática · Yet y still
I haven't + participio + yet · Have you + participio + yet? · I still haven't…
I haven't been on call yet, and I still haven't got my badge.
Todavía no he hecho guardia, y sigo sin tener mi tarjeta.
💡 “I didn't yet” es incorrecto: con yet, present perfect.
Así lo dirías
Mark: Have you done your first deploy yet?
Tú: Not yet. I haven't deployed to production yet, but I'm going to do my first one next week.
Con yet, present perfect (I haven't deployed). Para el plan, I'm going to.
Experiencias
Pregunta y cuenta experiencias.
Frases clave
| Inglés | Español |
|---|---|
| Have you ever worked in a startup? | ¿Has trabajado alguna vez en una startup? |
| I've never used Kubernetes. | Nunca he usado Kubernetes. |
| I've been to London twice. | He estado en Londres dos veces. |
Gramática · Ever y never
Have you ever + participio? · I've never + participio · I've been to + lugar
Ever = alguna vez (en preguntas). Never = nunca (con verbo afirmativo). Para lugares visitados: have been to.
Have you ever given a talk? — No, I've never done it.
¿Has dado alguna vez una charla? — No, nunca lo he hecho.
💡 Nunca “I haven't never”: never ya es negativo, va con have afirmativo.
Así lo dirías
Leo: Have you ever worked with a team in another country?
Tú: No, I've never worked with an international team before. This is my first time!
Para experiencias, present perfect: I've never worked. Falta el sujeto en “is the first time”.

💡 “I realised” (UK) / “I realized” (US): las dos formas son correctas.
Así lo dirías
Sarah: What's the most important thing you've learned in your first month?
Tú: I've realised that it's OK to ask questions, and I've learned a lot about the payments system.
Present perfect para tu primer mes (I've realised, I've learned). Falta el sujeto: it's OK. “Knowed” no existe.

Gramática · Objetivos

Want to es directo; would like to, más suave; hope to expresa un deseo. By + fecha = antes de / para.
I'd like to do my first on-call shift by March.
Me gustaría hacer mi primera guardia para marzo.
💡 “I hope to” (espero + infinitivo) no es lo mismo que “I'm waiting” (estoy esperando).
Así lo dirías
Mark: What are your goals for the next three months?
Tú: I'd like to lead a small feature by the summer, and I want to feel more confident speaking in the dailies.
Want/would like + to + verbo. “I like” es “me gusta”; para un deseo, I'd like.

Gramática · Repaso de la unidad

Para hacer balance: lo que has hecho (present perfect), lo que te falta (yet), tus aprendizajes y tus objetivos (would like to).
It's been a busy month: I've learned a lot, but I haven't deployed yet.
Ha sido un mes intenso: he aprendido mucho, pero todavía no he desplegado.
💡 Look forward to + sustantivo o -ing: I'm looking forward to working with you.

Tú: It's been great! I've learned a lot and finished several tickets. I haven't presented anything yet, but I'd like to give my first demo next month.
Para un balance hasta hoy, present perfect (it's been, I've learned, haven't presented yet) y would like to para el objetivo.
