Frases clave
| Inglés | Español |
|---|---|
| First, log in as an admin user. | Primero, inicia sesión como administrador. |
| Then go to the settings page. | Luego ve a la página de ajustes. |
| Finally, click save without changing anything. | Por último, pulsa guardar sin cambiar nada. |
Gramática · Imperativo y secuencia
verbo base + complemento · first, then, after that, finally
Open the app, then go to the cart.
💡 Nada de “You must click”: basta con “Click”. Es directo y no suena brusco.
Así lo dirías
Leo: Can you tell me how to reproduce the login bug?
Tú: Open the login page, then enter a wrong password three times.
Para pasos, imperativo directo: “Open… enter…”. “You must” suena a orden y sobra.
Esperado y real
El corazón de cualquier bug report.
Frases clave
| Inglés | Español |
|---|---|
| It should redirect to the dashboard. | Debería redirigir al dashboard. |
| Instead, it shows a blank page. |
| The button doesn't do anything. | El botón no hace nada. |
Gramática · Esperado frente a real
it should + verbo · instead, it + presente
It should save the draft, but it deletes it.
Debería guardar el borrador, pero lo borra.
💡 Plantilla útil: Expected: … / Actual: …
Así lo dirías
Priya: So what's wrong with the search?
Tú: The search should show results, but it doesn't show anything.
Should va sin “to”.
Frases clave
| Inglés | Español |
|---|---|
| I've already cleared the cache. | Ya he borrado la caché. |
| I've tried it on two different browsers. | Lo he probado en dos navegadores distintos. |
| I haven't been able to reproduce it locally. | No he podido reproducirlo en local. |
I've restarted the server, but it's still failing.
He reiniciado el servidor, pero sigue fallando.
💡 “Already” va entre have y el participio: I've already tried it.
Así lo dirías
Sarah: Before we debug this together, what have you tried so far?
Tú: I've restarted the server and checked the logs.
I've restarted, (I've) checked.
Frases clave
| Inglés | Español |
|---|---|
| If you upload a large file, the page freezes. |
| It only happens when the user is offline. |
| When I disable the extension, it works fine. | Cuando desactivo la extensión, funciona bien. |
Gramática · Condicional cero
if / when + presente → presente
If you click twice, the form submits two orders.
💡 Aquí if y when significan casi lo mismo: siempre que.
Así lo dirías
Leo: When exactly does the crash happen?
Tú: When the user presses back, the app crashes.
Frases clave
| Inglés | Español |
|---|---|
| It happens about once a day. |
| It affects all users on Android. | Afecta a todos los usuarios de Android. |
| There's a workaround, so it isn't urgent. |
Gramática · Frecuencia e impacto
always · often · sometimes · rarely · never · once a day
Los adverbios de frecuencia van antes del verbo principal (it sometimes fails) y después de to be (it's always slow).
It sometimes fails on the first try.
A veces falla al primer intento.
💡 Para dar cifras: once a day, twice a week, three times an hour.
Así lo dirías
Priya: Is this bug urgent? How many people does it affect?
Tú: It's not urgent. It sometimes happens, and it only affects a few users.
Frases clave
| Inglés | Español |
|---|---|
| Steps to reproduce are in the description. |
| I've attached a screenshot and the logs. | He adjuntado una captura y los logs. |
| Let me know if you need more details. | Avísame si necesitas más detalles. |
Gramática · Estructura del ticket
título → pasos (imperativo) → expected (should) → actual (presente)
Expected: the total should update. Actual: it stays the same.
Esperado: el total debería actualizarse. Real: se queda igual.
💡 Un buen título: “Checkout: total doesn't update after removing an item”.
Así lo dirías
Sarah: Walk me through the bug you found this morning.
Tú: When I remove an item from the cart, the total doesn't change. It should update.
“Remove from”, no “of”. La negativa en presente necesita doesn't: the total doesn't change.
